Welcome to our Moodle portal for Rossmoyne SHS English competitions. We will use this space to accept entries for various school, year group and house-based competitions.
We'll also post information for various state, national and even international speaking and writing competitions. Remember: Integrity, Connection, High Aspirations, Respect and Excellence.

Our first 2018 competition is now open to students in Years 7 and 8. We are celebrating summer and the iCARE value of "Connection." Write a haiku or tanka on this topic and submit it below, before the end of summer.

Presenting our newest English house competition - the Autumn Holiday Short Story Competition! Write and submit a story of 500 words or fewer, or up to 100 words for micro-fiction. The theme is "Aim High." Entries close end of Week 1 Term 2.

Year 10 Students: The first round of the Rotary 4-Way Test Speech Contest is on October 17th, 2018. This contest is open to Year 10 students and is organised by the Rotary Club of Rossmoyne. Earlier this year, Sam Ramesh went all the way to the State Final. Could we go one better and win everything this time? Read the info and speak to Mrs Ray before the end of term for details.
