Alumni video
At this year’s Careers Expo, you will have the opportunity to listen to and ask questions of Rossmoyne alumni from a variety of pathways, course and industry areas. Alongside this, we have a selection of videos that you can access from previous expo days.
Ex-Rossmoyne SHS students, along with a couple of 2022 Year 12s, contributed to this Alumni Video.These students were asked to talk about:
- The pathway they chose and why
- What they are doing now and their ambitions for the future
- Anything they wish that they had known when they were where you are now
VET pathway
Students who study via the VET Program attend school for three days, TAFE for one day and work placement for one day. VET students complete a certificate course, which can range from a Certificate II through to a Diploma, provided by a range of training providers and TAFEs across Perth.
Each year the courses available to Rossmoyne SHS students changes, and students are required to attend an interview with the VET Coordinator to discuss this year’s opportunities. For more information about what is available, students and parents are encouraged to attend the Year 10 VET Information Evening on Wednesday 29 May.
