Listen to how this course helped Sami, Ali Rose and Mariam achieve their post-school goals

Career education teaches students to manage and take responsibility for personal career development. The Career and Enterprise course equips students with the tools to head confidently into an uncertain future. It begins with recognising individual skills and talents, and moves on to using this understanding to find work and keep it.

Hear from a variety of Year 12 students about their experiences with this course

Students will examine all aspects of work patterns and economic restructuring which are realities of the rapidly changing world of work. Learning to deal with constant change through adaptability, enterprise and lifelong learning are vital elements of the course, along with exploration of social, cultural and environmental issues.

Career and Enterprise is used by a significant number of students in ATAR calculations, consistently using this course as their 1st or 2nd highest scoring ATAR course.

Students with good English skills will excel in this course.

The course is structured for maximum in class interaction and student involvement with very little out of school work which our students really appreciate.

Since the course was introduced by SCSA 10 years ago Rossmoyne SHS has produced the Exhibition winner (top student in the state) 8 times! Every year we have also had the Certificate of Excellence winner. No other course in the school gets anywhere near this record and our students love the structured, well presented and personal way the course is delivered.
