Rossmoyne Kindness Day is this Wednesday and is being run in support of World Kindness Day and to promote Random Acts of Kindness and Mental Health Week.

Between now and Wednesday, all students are encouraged to nominate a peer who they feel has performed an act of kindness, shown empathy towards others or has simply made someone’s day a little brighter.

Nomination forms are available in Student Services and on the school Moodle (see link attached to this message)

Download a nomination form here:

Completed forms need to be posted in the Nomination Box in Student Services before PD 3 on Wednesday.  Once all the nominations are in, a tally will be conducted and small gifts awarded.

 What else is happening?

 Kindness Bands:

On Rossmoyne Kindness Day, students from the Year 9 Computer Extension class will be handing out Kindness Bands when they see Random Acts of Kindness. Students who receive a band can then see Ms Somers for a prize during break 2.

 Kindness Screen Savers:

These images have been prepared by the Computer Extension class and are available for download from the Moodle. At random times during the day, if a student is seen by the Kindness Fairies with a kindness screen saver on their computer, they will be given a card which can be exchanged for a prize.

The file attached to this message includes the screen saver.

To use the screensaver on a mac - copy the image and save it as a .jpg file first
